It’s impossible for anyone to list all the best digital marketing conferences as nobody’s been to them all.
But we’ve been to many and we’ll continue to go to many. These are the conferences we’re attending or thinking of attending this year.

| INBOUND | Sep. 3-5 | San Francisco, USA |
| Brighton SEO, US | Sep 23-24 | San Diego, USA |
| Ahrefs Evolve ⭐️ | Oct. 14-15 | San Diego, USA |
| Shenzhen SEO | Sep. 18-21 | Shenzhen, China |

| Amaze Conference | Oct. 9 | Chandigarh, India |
| State of Search | Oct. 27-28 | Grapevine, USA |

Hosted by the marketing OGs HubSpot, INBOUND is a massive marketing conference offering hundreds of talks, deep dives, and fireside chats about topics ranging from brand strategy to AI.
Watch their recap video here:
One of INBOUND’s pull is the fact they get some of the biggest names on stage as their speakers. Last time round, they even got former U.S President Barack Obama as one of their speakers.

This time round, the big names include actress Amy Poehler, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, YouTuber Marques Brownlee, and the host of Hot Ones, Sean Evans.
BrightonSEO is back for its third year in the US, and there are already some pretty impressive speakers and talks announced.
A few ones to look out for:
- Adapting To The New Era Of Search Everywhere Optimization
- Surviving Zero-Click Search: Driving Organic Brand Visibility Across AI Overview and LLMs
- Content Distribution In The Age Of Ai: How To Make Your Content Spread
Last year, we launched our first ever SEO and digital marketing conference, Ahrefs Evolve in sunny Singapore. Watch our recap video:
This year, we’re bringing it to the US, and in sunny San Diego! And this year, it won’t just be an SEO conference; we’re going bigger and better. It will be a 600-person marketing conference with the best minds in marketing, all gathering to network, catch up, and discuss the latest and greatest in marketing strategy and tactics.
And if you opt for a VIP ticket, you’ll even get a private yacht networking event with the Ahrefs team and all the invited speakers. Pretty cool, huh?
Hosted this year at The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen, this four-day gathering pitches itself as a bridge between Eastern and Western search communities.
Expect 40-plus heavyweight speakers—including Google’s Gary Illyes and international consultant Aleyda Solis—alongside hands-on workshops, city tours and high-level networking designed to help brands crack the Chinese market while staying plugged into global best practice.
Billed under the banner “Search Beyond Limits,” this one-day summit in Romania’s tech capital mixes eight tactical sessions with optional advanced workshops for just €120.
Talks from our very own Andrei Țiț, Alex Nigmatulin and “Bibi the Link Builder” focus on data-backed SEO, AI-powered content and link-building that actually moves the SERP needle, while the organisers promise an “all-hats” view—white, grey and black—of what’s working right now.
Set against the calm backdrop of Lake Biwa, Brand Summit is a free, invite-only retreat for senior Japanese and Asia-Pacific marketers.
Sessions dig into “marketing leadership,” asking how brands can harness AI, storytelling and community-building to thrive in an era of constant upheaval.
The emphasis is on peer-to-peer discussion rather than exhibition-hall bustle, making it ideal if you want deep conversations and a reset away from Tokyo’s glare.
A single-day, 100 % SEO conference at the Hyatt Regency Chandigarh, Amaze pulls 300+ practitioners for rapid-fire, case-study-driven talks from the likes of Mads Singers, Alan Thomas and local stalwart Navneet Kaushal.
The agenda revolves around AI, automation and “no-theory” playbooks, promising attendees they’ll leave with tools, templates and a head-full of tactics they can deploy the very next day.
Presented by DFWSEM, State of Search positions itself as the “Who’s Who of What’s What” in digital marketing.
Expect a tight, single-track experience that balances advanced organic strategy with paid and analytics, delivered by industry veterans like Carolyn Shelby and Greg Gifford.
It’s no surprise that BrightonSEO made our list: The biannual conference is well-loved by SEOs and marketers of all levels, ourselves included.
Here are some standout topics you may like at the October event:
- What AI Knows About Your Brand (And What You Can Do About It)
- Trust > Traffic: How Community Fuels Organic Growth
- Last-Click Attribution Is Broken And It’s Hurting SEO

Almost Half of Google Searches Are Branded. Here’s Why That Matters
When most marketers think about SEO, they jump straight to keywords like “best running shoes” or “how to do [whatever]”. Non-branded, high-intent, top-of-funnel stuff. But our latest study might surprise you: Nearly half of all Google searches (45.7%) are branded searches—meaning people are actively seeking out specific companies and products they already know. Generative Engines Are Breaking Web Analytics and Hurting Their Future
Search is moving from traditional search engines to generative engines, but traffic from many of these sites isn’t being tracked properly in analytics. It’s their fault, not yours. I was looking at our LLM filter in Ahrefs Web Analytics and noticed some common generative engines missing from the list. They’re in our filters, but we aren’t…

Google Is Looking Out for #1. It’s Time You Do, Too
There’s a major competitor in your search results: Google. The other day, Lily Ray (Vice President of SEO Strategy & Research at Amsive) noticed Google had begun surfacing its own storefront for some competitive “Your Money or Your Life” searches. By Google’s own admission, these kinds of “E-E-A-T” sensitive queries should be reserved for only the…
Semantic SEO: The Advanced Skill Most SEOs Pretend to Understand
Semantic SEO sounds complicated, but it simply boils down to doing SEO without cutting corners. If you do SEO properly, you’re automatically doing semantic SEO. It’s just that most people aren’t doing it properly… It’s not a different type of SEO. You don’t need to do wildly different things. Rather, it’s a mental model that…
